my sona in tears of themis is literally just the mc (rosa) with longer hair (see the image above). the bangs was also parted in a way that i use. though the shade is different on the illustration, this is only done to match my dull/warm palette.i did contemplate about making my own and just using my appearance to present myself as is, but i think that would ruin my immersion in the game.also, a part of me doubted it would be necessary to create one as i do already share certain qualities with the mc (age from in-game, height, beliefs, life stage as a working adult, likes, etc). the only major difference is hair color and eyes (as i have black and brown respectively) and the job occupation itself. however, everything else is the same so it is something i can get by. going forth with this, i can also enjoy the illustrations in the episodes and the cards more.anyway, to align the change with the game, let’s just say that the bangs hairstyle (canon rosa hairstyle) is hairstyle #2. it’s what’s used for work/school/outdoors. at home or with marius there’s no need to keep it all together properly so it can be undone and instead changed into something simple (see image below for the hairstyle throughout the years).
hairstyle #2 was implemented early on because other kids teasingly gave the nickname of odekanojo (odeko). so, it was introduced like this and ever since then, in work/school/outdoors occasionally the bangs stay down.AAAAND if you can see, when the dull/warm palette is not used, the actual shade is utilized!anyway, i use my actual name rei in this game so please don't mistake any mentions of marirei as marius/vyn. i started tears of themis through eng. translation and was not aware that vyn went by moritsuki rei in jp until later upon switching languages.
relationship information ♡
i self-insert so the relationship i have with marius is pretty much the same as his route in-game.an aspect that diverges from in-game though is that i'm sick and it is something marius is yet to be made aware of. weekly medical treatments are well-hidden from him and it is something i do not intend to reveal any time soon. i've also grown fond of certain musical artists to which, some, marius gets jealous of. the jealousy is nothing serious and it's just him playfully sulking.currently, we are engaged and are living together!

me, rei — filipino/japanesemarius is the filipino-chinese boy to my filipino-japanese self. yes, parehas kaming half. honestly, he gives me chinoy vibes (so this thought came to me naturally). i also based this off from game origin (cn) since the nationalities of the boys aren’t exactly specified.so, while i was born in the philippines to a fil-jp family, we would eventually move to stellis where i would complete my primary and secondary education. however, when going on about with my tertiary education, i would enter a college affiliated with The Green School™now, what is The Green School™ you might ask—well, this is a local top university around my home country (and is also my alma mater so yeah i think you can guess what am i talking about).“rei, do you have to incorporate elements about your life in here?” to your misfortune, yes.anyway, moving on, in this headcanon of mine, stellis university = green school affiliated or partnered college (LOL). i thought it would also be perfect since stellis univ. is a prestigious institution and marius is taking up his graduate studies over there + alam niyo naman ang tuition ng graduate studies sa green school. von hagen worth type of fees.and so i pursued and completed my education over there, which would propel me to the path of becoming an attorney.now, who would have guessed that years later, after becoming an alumnus and joining themis law firm, i’d bump into this good looking, hot, sexy, Impressionable and troublesome guy as i was on my way to meet up with dr. richter?definitely not me, demo there’s a first for everything!first meetingsthe first meeting with marius is literally the same as the main story in-game. as i mentioned before, i do self-insert and see myself in rosa so nothing really changed with first encounters and relationship building.BUT, i do want to mention that the first meeting speech pattern in real time was a mix of en + cn (marius’ side) and en + fil + jp (on mine). my response to marius is something like: “ikaw yung bumangga sa akin. obvious naman, di ba? kung magsabi ng yokunai kala mo eh. at jiejie?” honestly, it probably doesn’t make sense to non-filos, but it’s a thing.and now, marius, being well marius, caught on and conversed in the same manner after he figured the language i was fluent in from the first few words spoken. would also like to mention that given his position as acting president and his experience studying abroad, i imagine he would have other languages stocked up in him ranging from (basic, intermediate, and fluency level). izumi kei, marius von hagen, yu sinu, lu jinghe, my multilingual king.meeting the familywith first meetings and relationship building clarified and out of the way, let’s move onto meeting the family.as a grandmother’s girl, of course, i introduced him first to her. marius is also the only guy who didn’t give me weird looks when i addressed her as “baba” — though there was definitely some confusion and misunderstandings initially (correct me if i’m wrong but i believe baba has a different meaning in cn which is father). kei thought i would be introducing him to my dad and was sweating buckets a bit LOL.right after introducing him to my grandmother, i took him then next to see my grandfather before FINALLY revealing him and our relationship to my parents.i also revealed it to luke who totally went overprotective mode. he did nothing but scrutinize marius the entire time we’re all together at the table (which also extended in succeeding nxx meetings), but he would eventually come to accept it.term of endearmentswhen it comes to the calling of names, in public the usage of jp is used to avoid attention—more so on marius’ side (kei). eng names are utilized for intl. or formal business events (marius-rach). however, in private or when alone together that’s where the birth names come into play (jinghe-rei)—it’s an intimate moment.i also have this headcanon where in the last names of (1) von hagen and (2) izumi are utilized by the family—esp. by marius for privacy purposes.with that put out, on a more amusing note, here is the term of endearment/nickname level, meter, or range:positive!mari → the usual. when this is used to call him out the vibe is like: mari!! ^^marius → the name used to call in office or events usually. comes next after mari and interchangeably used with kei-kun. the vibe is like: marius :Dkei or kei-kun → interchangeably used with both mari and marius. the term of endearment or nickname used most in certain days especially in public. the vibe is like: kei-kun!!! <33jinghe → during intimate dates and inside the home or sometimes used during moments where love is overflowing (ex. watching the sunrise together, meeting after a long business trip, making love, etc). the vibe is like: jinghe ////negative? estp (marius) & isfj (me/sona)the dynamic with marius can be summed up into these simple things which are: sun and moon, secret relationship, cuddly and touch starved, flirty and nonchalant, mutual pining, and the classic ceo and attorney as established in the game.sun and moon — marius is definitely the sunshine while i’m the moon. given his bright and cheerful heart, and his ability to still hope even if things are going wrong, just screams very sunshine to me. he’s also the one who pushes me to look at things in a more optimistic manner.secret relationship — during the beginning of the relationship, we had to lay low.cuddly and touch starved — this one, there is no set person. sometimes, i’m the cuddly and marius is the touch starved, but there are also instances where it’s the other way around.flirty and nonchalant — marius is obviously the flirt and i’m the nonchalant (or should i say oblivious sometimes).mutual pining — it took us a while before we acted on our feelings (marius was the one to do it first).ceo and attorney — acting pax president marius von hagen, izumi kei, lu jinghe & junior attorney rachel, reithe main theme and trope for us is: to love and be loved. i yearn to be able to give people my love and support wholeheartedly, while marius seeks and is more than happy to receive these affections.
